This Privacy Policy explains how MEAT TOWN DORAL LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use Meatthe Recipe at https://meattherecipe.com (the "Site"), including our recipe library, membership and store. It is effective as of October 1, 2026.

1. Information we collect

Account details: your name, e-mail address (stored in lowercase) and a one-way hash of your password. We never store your password in readable form.
Order and membership details: shipping name and address, e-mail, items purchased, totals, plan chosen, and the card brand and last four digits of the card used. Full card numbers and security codes are validated at checkout and are not stored by us.
Messages: what you send through the contact form, along with the IP address it came from, to help us fight spam.
Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a small browser storage entry that remembers your cart and your cookie-notice choice. See our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use it

To create and secure your account and keep you signed in.
To process store orders, ship products and send order confirmations.
To activate, renew or cancel your membership and unlock members-only recipes.
To answer questions you send us and to provide customer support.
To keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with service providers acting on our behalf, such as our web host, payment processor and shipping carriers, each bound to use it only for the service they provide. We may disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

4. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open. Order records are kept for up to seven years for tax and accounting purposes. Contact messages are deleted after 24 months. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

5. Your choices and rights

You may access, correct or delete your personal information, or ask for a copy of it, by writing to info@meattherecipe.com. Depending on where you live (for example California, Virginia, Colorado or the European Economic Area), you may have additional rights, and we will honor them as the law requires. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

6. Security

We use HTTPS, hashed passwords, prepared database statements and restricted server access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach where the law requires.

7. Children

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed; material changes will be highlighted on the Site.

9. Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
