Counterline Bronze Salt and Pepper Mill Pair

These two mills are turned metal with a warm bronze finish and banded bases, pretty enough for the dinner table and sturdy enough for daily use. The slightly taller pepper mill has a hardened steel burr, while the salt mill uses a ceramic one that will not corrode.

A knob on top sets the grind. We run the pepper coarse for crusting a tenderloin and fine for pan gravy, and fill the salt mill with gray sea salt for the table. Refill through the top and wipe the bronze with a dry cloth.
