The kettle is the most flexible grill you can own. Bank the coals to one side and it runs at 250 F for ribs and pork butt; spread them out and a steak sears in minutes. The deep bowl and domed lid are porcelain enameled steel that will not rust through.
Top and bottom dampers control airflow, a hinged grate lets you add coals mid-cook, and the ash catcher keeps the deck clean. Our cooks run most weekend recipe tests on one. Keep it covered and empty the ash after every cook.
