Counterline Round Walnut Serving Tray with Wooden Spreader

The tray is turned from one piece of black walnut, and the low lip around the edge keeps crumbs, mustard and rendered drippings from sliding onto the tablecloth. Its dark figured grain makes pink slices of cured ham or rare roast beef pop.

We pair it with the light maple spreader for pate, bone marrow butter and whipped lardo. Wipe it with a damp cloth, dry it standing on edge and treat it with board cream when the wood starts to look pale.
